Summary
In real life as well as in the virtual world, some souls shine with their unique ability to understand and transcribe all emotions and senses. They are fervent empaths with heightened senses. Cross The Ages is infested with characters of this value.
Lylini is the perfect example. A young woman, elegant, stylish, and well-groomed, yet fragile. This artist with a magnetic aura embodies the quiet strength of a melody capable of touching the depths of the soul.
Dressed all in black, Lylini, with her understated, gentle, and captivating elegance that allows her to blend into the shadows, and her bewitching music that seems to make light burst forth, seems to illuminate the room around her. Her mysterious gaze, partially hidden by a golden mask, evokes a particular vision of the world, which reinforces and further increases the power of her other senses.
Lylini defines herself as more than just a musician. She is the gentle storyteller whose notes resonate in the hearts of those who listen to her. She knows how to invite each soul to immerse itself in its own inner journey.

Lylini brings light from the shadows!
In the standard version In this SR card, Lylini is revealed in a luxurious setting, imbued with grandeur and mystery. She half-opens a massive door carved and finely adorned with gold.
She looks as if she is about to enter a luxurious place, perhaps a palace, or a sanctuary reserved only for the initiated.
Her gestures are measured, delicate, and graceful. She gently places her hand on the door; her fingers are long, thin, well-groomed, and very well-manicured, with black nail polish on her nails. She tilts her head slightly, probably to peer inside. The contrast depicted in this illustration is fascinating.
On one hand, there is the coldness of her clothes, the expression of her pale face, and the dark and melancholic atmosphere that reigns. Then, on the other, the warmth of her golden metal mask, the asymmetry and the platinum blonde color of her hair tattooed on top, send us a message. One that suggests that Lylini could be an ambiguous character, caught between shadow and light, struggling to determine her identity.
The marker tribal brown on her platinum hair, denounces the possibility that she could belong to a clan, be part of a tribe, a family of sorts. She therefore probably plays a specific role there. Her obsidian-colored clothes, a mix between Gothic and Victorian styles, as well as the golden light from the door highlight this intriguing duality. Lylini seems to belong as much to the shadow as to the light.
Her forearms and neck, which appear stained with indelible black ink, draw attention and suggest that a particular event is the cause. Perhaps Lylini is the victim of a past marked by secret and painful ordeals. Her golden amber mask, covering only half of her face, is also intriguing.
Is it protection? A tribal distinguishing mark? A wound from the past? What is hidden behind this golden mask and asymmetrical lock of hair?
His eye which seems to perceive far beyond the visible, Does he pick up the vibrations and secrets of the Rift? Or is he an anomaly?
With this mask, Lylini seems to symbolize a fragile balance, between vulnerability and strength, between shadow and light.

Lylini, Melody of Light…
In the alternative version In this SR card, Lylini appears kneeling in the center of the card, frozen and focused on her work. A halo of light surrounds her and carries her into an almost unreal trance. What message does she want to deliver with her instrument?
This instrument, an arched flute, seems to hypnotize her, to teleport her...
What if this flute was his only means of communication?!
Her outfit consists of a black leotard with voluminous sleeves in a very elegant Victorian style, and a tutu made of black gas. The entire outfit resembles that of a dancer. This dark and flowing costume envelops Lylini's slender figure, and gives this incredible aura an extra touch of mystery.
The space in which this scene takes place is vast and open, but it suddenly transforms into a small setting for his music. His demeanor reveals the power and magic of his instrument, which carries him away in a captivating whirlwind.
Lylini handles her flute with intense, almost supernatural dexterity and grace. Her fingers glide over it with hypnotic precision and fluidity. Each movement becomes an incantation, a musical spell.
The notes that cascade from this magical instrument are sometimes as gentle as a light breeze, sometimes as powerful as a tumultuous river.
The emotions shift with the rhythm of the notes, painting in turn pictures of melancholy, passion, sadness, and hope. She tells a story without words, a story that everyone can make their own, projecting their own memories and dreams onto it.
Lylini's gaze seems empty, her hair flies and twirls to the melody. Her soul radiates, and light bursts forth like a halo that diffuses throughout the room. Subtle particles of light dance all around her. These luminous bursts respond to her music, as if they had the power to rekindle small sparks in the darkness.
Her golden amber mask conceals the entire left side of her face, but it seems to hide an even darker secret. Do you feel this vulnerability? How does Lylini manage to expose her soul like this, without revealing herself completely?! What is this secret she is hiding? What wouldn't she want us to see?
