Arjjuna, the Unwavering Beast of the Rift!

Arjjuna; Cross The Ages; Artellium Post

Half-feline, half-dragon, the beast Arjjuna is much more than just a mount used for war.

He is at once a loyal companion, a faithful friend and an essential strategic asset for his mistress.

Let's not waste any time and discover together the analysis of the two versions of these SR cards, describing this very special creature.

The standard card that reveals the formidable and very intimate relationship between Arjjuna and his mistress, and the alternate card where both are in an attack posture, ready to face the surrounding chaos. Let's see what Arjjuna really represents through these illustrations.

Arjjuna and his Mistress, the calm before the Storm…

In the standard version, Arjjuna and his mistress lie against each other in a moment of absolute calm, a rare pause amidst a thousand torments in the chaos of the Rift.

They rest comfortably in nature, even as a light rain trickles down their bodies, without disturbing them in the least. The intimate atmosphere they manage to create even in these conditions gives the impression that they are slumped on their sofa.

Arjjuna, seems to be the clever cross between a Dragon Robot and a massive felineHe embodies raw power. His scaly skin, adorned with a purple hue and streaked with luminous pink, gives him an almost supernatural appearance. His gigantic head, topped with sharp, pointed horns that are paradoxically threatening and protective, could frighten even the most valiant adventurer.

It is not one, nor two, but three eyes that he has in each eye.

Half-closed, its eyes, symmetrically distributed on either side of its enormous head, are on the lookout for the slightest movement, it is constantly vigilant. This is a power of perception that surpasses that of most creatures of the Rift.

Its powerful jaw, with its long, sharp teeth, protruding slightly from its half-open mouth, releases a deep, calming breath. It almost sounds like it's purring.

But like all felines, Arjjuna sleeps with one eye open, which means he has five others watching and keeping watch. His mistress can sleep soundly, knowing he will warn her of any danger and defend her if the need arises.

The bond between her and her Arjjuna is incredible. Her relaxed position, half-lying against the creature's side, speaks volumes about the mutual trust that exists between these two.

The clothes she wears are made of soft leather and light armor, although being soaked by the rain seems to be the least of her concerns.

His hand slides gently over Arjjuna's thick, rough fur, as if to reassure him with each exhalation.

This moment captivates the viewer with the calm of the scene and highlights an unbreakable bond between an animal and its mistress who understand each other with a simple look, a simple gesture.

Unity is strength in Survival!

There alternative SR card radically changes tone. Arjjuna is seen here in the middle of descending one of the Rift's steep cliffs, his gigantic, feline silhouette dominating the landscape of levitating rocks. His jaw open to breathe, Arjjuna inhales and exhales to regulate his body temperature. He looks as if he's on the hunt.

Its massive paws grip the rocky ground with force, leaving each claw deeply marking the arid and steep earth it treads.

Do you hear the landslide caused by the power of his limbs?!

The grinding of his claws against the rock, and the dust that escapes from them, reminds us of those produced by an earthquake. A low, terrifying roar echoes throughout the area as he remains focused on his objective. With his jaws half-open, Arjjuna is ready to devour any obstacles that stand in his way.

Arjjuna's appearance, with his tense muscles under his thick skin, proves to us that he is not completely a robot and that sometimes the most savage and powerful beasts are capable of more humanity and gratitude towards their masters than men.

How can the amazing Rift, a land of desolation and so many anomalies, be rich in these creatures capable of such attachment and loyalty to their Masters? They are ready to do anything to protect them or obey them.

Arjjuna, his horned back, protecting him like a natural armor that few opponents would dare challenge, carries his armed Mistress, firmly seated and strapped to his back. She seems to be gripping tightly to the straps that connect her to Arjjuna's muscular neck.

Spear in hand, face tense, focused on the objective in front of her, Arjjuna's Mistress sits firmly in her saddle, legs firmly planted in the creature's flanks to maintain its balance.

The Arjjuna usually travel with their Sigil Masters in clans, several of them with defined roles, much like a pack of wolves. They are always accompanied by their respective masters and live in the cliffs and rocks that float in the Rift landscapes.

In this specific case, we are entitled to wonder where the rest of the group is.

The SR card scenery surrounding our two protagonists, Arjjuna and his Mistress, reinforces this sense of imminent danger. The floating rocks, which remain suspended due to the Rift's gravitational anomalies, create a natural but unstable barrier.

Every stone vibrates, ready to collapse at any moment under the whims of this bizarre phenomenon that isHapesgravityThe sky, bathed in light, is an explosion of twilight colors in which the shadows lengthen and twist, as if silently observing the scene of the two companions.

The incredible duo of Arjjuna and his Mistress, a fragile balance in a ruined world.

Through these two Arjjuna maps, Cross The Ages reveals the many facets of the Rift and the trials its inhabitants face.

In a world where the laws of gravity are disrupted by the phenomenon of Happegraveur, where every creature and every human being must adapt or perish, the relationship between Arjjuna and his mistress transcends mere survival. She embodies the perfect symbiosis between a human being and a hybrid creature, both survivors in the Rift. A bond forged through battle unites them through sacrifice and absolute trust, they have learned to become a family.

The Rift, with its tormented lands, is far from a playground for those who venture there. It is a living, shifting anomaly, where only the strongest can hope to survive. Arjjuna, with his extraordinary appearance and indomitable ferocity, is one of the best allies one could dream of in this chaos.

His sheer brutality and strength reflect the unforgiving nature of the Rift, but his relationship with his mistress reminds us that at the very heart of this torn world, the true bonds of the heart are unbreakable and immortal.

In the harsh reality of the Rift, however, Arjjuna is no exception!

It is in adversity that living beings are capable of the best...
