Class 1 Utility Drone, Organized Repair and Defense

Class 1 utility drones are distinguished not only by their advanced design but also by their crucial role within Mantris.

The Class 1 utility drones, which are emerging as poignant symbols of progress, are also controversial. These machines, designed by the Mantris faction, are not simple flying robots; they are at the heart of a revolution that is reshaping social interactions and redistributing the roles of each individual between technology, society, and the environment.

Standard Version

Maintenance Mission - Drones in the service of sustainable technology.

The standard version of this SR Map shows two drones on a mission with blue and green points of light as eyes. These colors indicate the drones' tranquility, the fact that everything is going smoothly during their patrol. We imagine that in the event of an alert, the color of these points of light will vary. In this image, the drones are engaged in repair or maintenance tasks, possibly on structures such as solar panels...

This peaceful mission is crucial to maintaining the proper functioning of Mantris's essential infrastructure. The surrounding environment, imbued with a soft pinkish light, can symbolize hope and regeneration, highlighting the constructive aspect of technology which, far from being limited to defensive or offensive functions, also contributes to improving the quality of life of the Mantri. This makes these utility drones indispensable.

To what extent do the citizens of Mantris trust these drones for their daily safety and well-being? Are these drones only there to restore order to the infrastructure? Or is their role much more complex?!

Alternative Version

Mantris Drones in High Surveillance Intervention.

The alternate version of our SR Map presents us with another side of these robots. In the dark alleys of the Metropolis, a drone with glowing points of light for eyes, as well as antennas of the same color, seems to emerge from the darkness, potentially signaling an alert in the face of a malfunction or danger, the activation of a sort of defensive mode.

This isn't just a routine flight; it's a tense mission, in the midst of security action, or even combat. In fact, this drone appears in a promotional video for the partnership with the game "Watch Dogs," in which Aiden Pearce is chased and ultimately cornered by these same drones. These drones, initially designed for utilitarian tasks, here demonstrate their ability to actively engage in security operations, pivoting quickly between different roles as the situation demands.

They can neutralize the enemy while awaiting the intervention brigade with powerful energy. These drones are formidable weapons for defending the city from the dangers that threaten it. How are these drones programmed to switch between modes as diverse as maintenance and defense? Are there specific pre-programmed protocols?

Technology and Humanity - Balance between Progress and Caution.

Class 1 utility drones are not mere machines; they are sophisticated tools that demonstrate the interconnectedness of Mantris technology and society. Capable of switching between essential maintenance roles and defensive operations, these drones embody the dual facet of modern technology: a force capable of both protecting and actively participating in building a better future.

If a drone were to malfunction or be hacked, what would the consequences be for society? How would residents cope with such eventualities?

Do these drones embody the values of those who design and use them? Is absolute control and the robotization of all service professions the appropriate solution to the problems of the inhabitants of Mantris?
