The Odyssey of Cross The Ages comes to life at the Gaîté Lyrique in Paris…

In the heart of Paris, at the Gaîté Lyrique, a legendary cultural venue which has hosted important artistic events more than once; Cross The Ages celebrated on April 12 at 6:30 p.m., the launch of its Volume 1 “The Rune & the Code”.

This event, of exceptional magnitude, will inevitably leave its mark on the magical world of literature, with its unprecedented mix of genres.

This outing, awaited by enthusiasts since the beginning of the adventure, was, for one evening, a meeting conducive to emotion and the promise of a fabulous adventure.

This celebration announces the launch of a Saga that will undoubtedly follow in the footsteps of the titans that preceded it, such as Harry Potter and Game of Thrones.

Within the premises of the Lyrical Gaiety, the atmosphere was festive. The fame and history that permeate the place perfectly echoed with the promising future that Cross The Ages embodies. The conversations were buzzing. The guests, a mix of partners, fervent science fiction fans and long-time fans, all eager to dive into this immersive experience, savored the privilege of being in a small group to enjoy this proximity with the authors and the team of Cross The Ages, even if it was only for one evening.

The evening began with a forced silence, that of our dear Sami Chlagou, forced to murmur his speech into his microphone, his voice almost extinguished by a recent extinction. These are the risks of the job, following a rather busy week with the blockchain week which also took place in Paris. Of course, this did not prevent him from sharing with the guests his joy for the launch of the first volume, "The Rune and the Code". 

As usual, he expressed with sincere emotion and deep gratitude, his friendship and attachment to the six authors and his entire team. At his side, Richard Esteve, who succeeded him at the microphone, also took the time to thank the assembly for their shared passion. His speech tinged with pride and his bright eyes reflected a certain feeling of accomplishment, after these three long years of dedication and hard work.

The interventions of Hash Consulting and Morning Star Venture reinforced what we already knew. The crucial importance of these partnerships for Cross The Ages, as well as the exploitation that this generates. The team of founders of Hash Consulting, expressed their enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing the synergy between the innovation of the technology and the quality of the narration. Morning Star Venture did the same, emphasizing the advantages of such a project. Morningstar has assured its continued unwavering support for Cross The Ages, which is vital for the future development of the saga.

The six authors took turns to tell their feelings about co-writing such a work. The methodology used, the way of welcoming criticism, the egos, the friendship and the atmosphere between the writers. Everything was examined in detail.

From the proposal Sami made to them, to their magnificent contribution to this fantastic epic. Their story won over the audience.

The diversity of their stories, reflecting their unique personalities and expertise in various genres, wove a rich and complex narrative patchwork. Each shared their personal journey with Cross the Ages, which was then illustrated by reading selected passages from the first volume. Accompanied by the immersive music of Laurent Pernice, they created a captivating atmosphere in the auditorium. Each word resonated in the audience filled with emotion, like the note of a symphony that we all know by heart, but that we love to rediscover again because we like it so much.

During the Q&A session, which generated a lot of interest from the audience, participants were curious to know more about the inspirations and mysteries of Cross The Ages.

The authors, sincere and committed, played the game and opened up. They answered all the questions, in a fluid and dynamic exchange.

Time seemed to stand still...

The immense workload and thought that went into it fascinated the crowd.

The energy and vibrations of the Cross the Ages community permeated every corner of the Gaîté Lyrique, as is the case at every event. Groups formed spontaneously to share their enthusiasm and impressions, to theorize about the next gameplay, Tome, game, or simply for the pleasure of meeting up. They are the first witnesses to the power of this Saga that is beginning. The authors and founders also took part in the discussions, mingling with the crowd, in all humility, simplicity and accessibility.

As friends and confidants would, they shared their love of this universe which came to life before their amazed eyes.

The signing session was a timeless break, where each reader was able to share a special moment of communion with the creators (authors and founders) of Cross The Ages.

For this moment imagined so many times, the authors, armed with pens, not only put their signature on the pages, but also wrote personalized messages that will become precious memories over the years.

The signing session offered a rare moment of intimacy between fans and creators. These precious moments revealed the writers' deep gratitude and appreciation for their community.

As La Gaîté Lyrique closed its doors on this unforgettable evening, it became clear that Cross the Ages transcended the simple definition of a book; this adventure embodied a promise of change, a community bond, a projection of a different, more humane, communal lifestyle. It was the beginning of a legend destined to attract readers around the world.

The conclusion of this event does not in any way mark the end of the experience; each participant takes with them a part of the magic of Cross The Ages. "This is only the beginning"; yet, the saga has already left an indelible mark on the literary landscape and in the hearts of those who participate in it.
