Portal V2 - New era for Cross The Ages user interface.

The Cross The Ages Portal is one of the tools whose usefulness is essential whether in the ecosystem of games, or more simply for the collection aspect. Accessible both from the official website or directly in-game, it centralizes everything that is essential to players.

V2 of the Portal, which was released this Monday December 16, 2024, marks a decisive step in the evolution of this tool. Prior to its launch, a phase of beta test exclusive has been set up, in which theArtellium Post as well as some members of the community had the honor of participating. 

During this smooth and efficient collaboration, a small group of carefully selected testers interacted directly with the Cross The Ages team via Discord.

This method has proven to be invaluable in helping develop the tool, identifying bugs, gathering suggestions for improvement, and ensuring that the final product meets the community's expectations.

A simple and well-structured approach, which allowed a constant dialogue between beta testers and developers. Thanks to a well-crafted system, each reported bug was dealt with quickly, and relevant suggestions were directly integrated into the roadmap.

This collaborative process, involving the community in the development, not only allowed for quick adjustments but also strengthened the bond between Cross The Ages and its community. The clear external vision, as well as the experience of using the first version of Portal, by the beta testers contributed to making Portal V2 an optimal product.

The V2 update didn't just fix bugs, it also brings a whole bunch of new features and even a complete overhaul of the interface. All of this makes the user experience more fluid and convenient.

Here are the main new features:

• A completely redesigned design

The Portal now sports a more modern and attractive visual, with reworked colors and buttons, to offer a pleasant and immersive interface.

• A simplified menu

Navigation has been optimized to be easier to use, more intuitive, allowing players to quickly find the information they need.

• Adding asset supplies

A major feature that allows you to visualize the total quantity of an asset in circulation, which allows the implementation of a strategy for managing cards and other loot.

• Detailed asset descriptions

Each card is now accompanied by an enriched description which places Lore at the center of the Cross The Ages experience.

This return to the narrative universe is a real asset for fans of the Cross The Ages story.

• Artist spotlight

Each card now displays the name of its creator, thus promoting the artists who contribute to the visual and artistic richness of the game.

• A clearer and more intuitive marketplace

Filters have been simplified, making asset navigation and visibility more fluid. Asset prices can be sorted in ascending or descending order in $CTA and USDC, all in one place, for easier searches.

• Detailed view of the cards for sale

It is now possible to directly see the overall supply of a card, as well as the number of Stones and Trisels it yields if shredded.

These improvements make asset management more efficient and contribute to a better user experience, whether for collectors, players or investors.

This Portal update is part of a broader approach aimed at facilitating the transition from Web 2 At Web 3 for new players. With a modernized design, enhanced features and simplified navigation, the V2 Portal is an ideal gateway to discover and manage assets obtained in the universe of Cross The Ages.

However, many challenges remain, such as page loading times, which still need to be improved. The team is aware of this and is already working on this issue. Some solutions are planned for future updates.
