Summary
The community of Cross The Ages continues to show its dedication to the project. Beyond pixels and maps, the CTA community proves once again that it is dynamic and committed to the success of its initiative. It is a real pleasure to see the involvement of important figures, such as guild leaders, content creators, as well as community media or social network actors, investing not only as players or spectators, but also as true builders in the Cross The Ages universe.
This Tuesday, January 28, at 6 p.m., we attended the very first Round table Cross The Ages Community. This Round Table marked a turning point in the relationship between the CTA team and its community.
The meeting, which took place live on Twitch, was a real exchange, an open dialogue between those who shape the game and those who bring it to life on a daily basis.
For two hours, Sami, Anthony and Quentin answered questions from five community representatives without hesitation: Gueuldorf, Panda, MrReGem, Don Drogo and ourselves, theArtellium Post (represented by Manela).
A sincere exchange, driven by the desire to build together and find solutions to obstacles and doubts.
A huge thank you to the entire CTA team, who not only took the time to organize this meeting, to explain, to listen, but above all to reaffirm their vision and commitment to Cross The Ages, but also to the community.
And thanks also to all those who were present, more than 500 simultaneous spectators, proving that this universe continues to interest and bring people together.
This is what was essential to remember from this first Round Table, and what it promises us for the future.
Update 1.0 announces the return of In-Game Events.
One of the first questions players had was about the return of in-game events, a central element of the Cross The Ages experience.
The team has confirmed that Events will not wait until the release of version 1.0 of the game to return. They will be available before, but the dates will be confirmed shortly before. The choice not to organize a major event was made recently so as not to slow down the production of the various products in progress.
To this end, the roadmap provides for:
- New, more substantial events, interconnected with each other.
- Dedicated game modes and exclusive rewards to unlock in the TCG and Arise.
- A gradual relaunch of events after patches 0.24 (gameplay) and 0.25 (rewards).
This announcement was received very positively and with great enthusiasm by players live on the platform.
New TCG Gameplay Coming!
Regarding the gameplay of the TCG, Cross The Ages is working on its deep overhaul, which will be integrated into patch 0.24. The team insisted on its desire to co-construct this evolution with the community.
The first external testing phases will be set up to collect feedback from players. Communication around the changes is deliberately controlled, to avoid certain information being revealed too early.
This overhaul promises to bring a renewed interest in the game's mechanics, and this point will be closely scrutinized by the community.
The Valorization of Collections through Rewards and Craft.
One of the highlights of this roundtable was the future of the rewards system and crafting. CTA is working on a new concept called "Eternal Score", which will be implemented with the migration to Solana.
This is a revaluation of the Éternelles and Foil collections. Static maps will remain playable but will offer fewer farming possibilities. Some rewards will now be exclusive to NFTs.
The stones in Arise are not the same as the Stones in the TCG, so a name change is being considered to avoid confusion.
Balancing TCG and Arise rewards is paramount to preventing one game from taking over the other.
Crafting, a central element of CTA, will be brought back to the forefront with an improved interface and better integration in upcoming patches.
A redesign designed to give meaning to old collections and evolution mechanics.
Trust, Vision and Community Commitment.
The team is fully aware that the community's trust has been tested in recent months, and fully acknowledges the mistakes that are theirs.
The frustrations related to the devaluation of packs, cards or even Stones have been heard and understood. The CTA team also made it clear to the community representatives that some of the difficulties encountered are unfortunately part of the hazards of web3 creation.
Regardless of the obstacles, the goal is to finally offer a clear and secure ecosystem to players and investors.
Among the commitments made:
- Strengthening community resources (documentation, access to data).
- The creation of new tools for CAD and card rental.
- The long-term vision affirmed, with the desire to focus on IP and product quality.
- The importance of books and Lore, which serve as a foundation for broadening the audience of the project.
The team recalled that for a year, efforts have been refocused on the two major products that are TCG and Arise. This is an effective strategy to solidly build the future of the project, then it will allow to extend this incredible universe that is CTA to other axes.
Migration to Solana and Arrival of the Lands
Migration to Solana is inevitable for the future of the project, especially regarding the aspects DeFi and social (Trisel, location, DAO…). During this transition, Lands should be offered, with an approach ready for IRL use.
However, technical and administrative delays have slowed down the schedule.
The sale of the Lands should take place at the same time or just after the migration.
Finally, the final unlock of the tokens is scheduled for March 15.
Target Audience and Evolution of Communication
CTA wants to change its communication strategy. No more " little blows " marketing, the objective today is to consolidate the base before relaunching a large-scale campaign.
The team wants to attract players Web2, while maintaining a prominent place for the community Web3.
A collaboration with media partners such as Babakam is envisaged, once the product base is ready. The AMAs could be replaced by these new round tables, at the rate of three sessions over six months.
The team remains open to the evolution of this format, and is reflecting on the responsibility of community representatives in the CTA ecosystem.
The Round Table is a First Step Towards Regular Dialogue with a More United Community.
This first Community Round Table was not just a live event. It was a demonstration of commitment, a moment where passion and the desire to move forward together made doubts and uncertainties evaporate.
In two hours of discussions, we saw on the one hand, involved and conscientious representatives, who did their best to convey the messages for which they were responsible. And on the other, a team that listened, ready to respond sincerely to the questions of its community, even on the most sensitive subjects. We heard clear commitments, thoughtful adjustments and, above all, a vision that does not waver despite the storms.
The challenges remain numerous, the expectations high, but this round table reminded us of one essential thing: Cross The Ages is above all a collective adventure. Each player, each enthusiast, each member of the community has their place in this universe under construction.
The emotion was very present, both among the community representatives and the CTA team. Behind the numbers, behind the game mechanics, there are men and women who deeply believe in this project, who put their hearts into it.
They move forward with only one idea in mind: to build something unique, to bring this project to life with and for the community.
This first Round Table has proven at least one thing. Our voice matters, and it is heard and understood. We are much more than spectators, we are builders.
And this is just the beginning. The next Round Table will be an opportunity to go even further, to ask new questions, to explore new avenues. Together, we will work on the future of Cross The Ages.
Do not hesitate to send your questions or comments, whether positive or negative, to your representatives; Mr Regem, Gueuldorf, Don Drogo, Panda or even us, Artellium Post.
THANKS.
