Amber League - New Enriching Initiative from the Cross the Ages Community

The Cross the Ages community has definitely not finished surprising us yet!!!

As you know, we are always keen to highlight the great ideas initiated by people in the Cross The Ages community.

Especially when they are well-crafted and likely to generate Pleasure for all. The more time passes, the more this devoted community continues to prove its commitment to the Cross The Ages Project…

Today, we invite you to discover with us the "Amber League" project, which was very recently launched. This ambitious project, led by several enthusiasts and active players from different Cross The Ages TCG guilds, promises to breathe new life into the competition of the best players.

The enthusiasm is palpable within the "Amber League" team and we had the chance to discuss it with our friend Gueuldorf, who is the spokesperson for their association "Amber League Initiative" (not to be confused with the Tournament of the same name, "Amber League" or "Amber League Tournament"...

Patience, we will tell you everything!!!

A Collective Initiative to Entertain the Cross The Ages Community

Gueuldorf modestly describes himself as: "just a guy from the community" emphasizing the importance of the collective aspect of the project. We also share his opinion, which is to say that together we can always do more than we can do alone.

This is also the leitmotif of our Sami Chlagou.

“Amber League” is above all a Community Tournament, designed by members of the community, for members of this same community.

Among the initiators who feature in this team of hard workers are Drunky, Bobo, Twisthead, Bobvolte, Tickeuha, Legov, M-Lion, Haziel, Satoshin and Azphel, each bringing their stone to the building and their passion for the project.

New Momentum for Cross the Ages

The idea of the "Amber League" Tournament was born from an observation shared during the guild council at the beginning of the year: The need for more stimulating challenges and greater involvement of guilds in the Cross The Ages ecosystem.

This largely forms the basis of the motivation for this initiative.

According to their thinking, the Gameplay as it was proposed at the time, lacked a little challenge to interest experienced gamers, or attract new ones. As for the guilds, they felt that they did not really have the place of link that they should have in the ecosystem, explains Gueuldorf.

It is from this observation that the idea of creating an annual competition was born, punctuated by satellite tournaments, to revitalize the community and offer a space for regular competition.

“Amber League”; Quite a concept!

As you have now understood, "Amber League" is a real bi-annual eSport championship, centered on the Cross The Ages TCG.

It is composed of two Seasons (one in Winter / one in Summer) each with eight satellite tournaments that allow players to earn points with an individual ranking, but also with a team ranking. At the end of each Season, the 32 best players will have to compete in a Final Tournament.

"We have planned rewards for both the satellites and the finals."

Said Gueuldorf.

The conditions of participation are very simple.

To register, you just need:

- a CTA account,

- and to register in time to benefit from one of the 128 places available for each satellite.

The “Amber League” tournament aims to be inclusive, international and redistributive, continues Gueuldorf, emphasizing the accessibility and openness of the competition.

Rewards Level (for one Season):

- Cash prize of over $10,000

- In-Game Rewards

- And other Surprises

Goals and Vision

In the short term, the main objective is to provide motivation and re-mobilize the community around a quasi-permanent event, while creating a competitive and fun atmosphere.

In the long term, the team aspires to make the Amber League Tournament a must-see in Cross The Ages, offering significant recognition and rewards to participating players, as well as guilds.

A Championship for All!

One of the unique features of the Amber League Championship (or Tournament) is the flexibility offered to players. "We take into account the four best individual results to establish the ranking," explains Gueuldorf.

This approach ensures that participants are not penalized if they cannot attend all tournaments. Additionally, tournaments are held at different times to accommodate all players, based on their different time zones.

Amber League: A Name with Real Meaning!

Whether for the association "Amber League Initiative" or for the "Amber League Tournament", the choice of the name "Amber League" is not insignificant.

Inspired by the Lore of Cross The Ages, this name evokes a precious stone surrounded by mysteries, notably exploited by the Fort-Gotens, it represents a coveted trophy.

This choice highlights above all the competitive and noble aspect of the league, in perfect harmony with the universe of Cross The Ages.

What Future for Amber League?

The first season of the Amber League Tournament will take place on the Community Gaming platform. However, a dedicated platform is already under development and should be available soon.

The first Tournament will take place very soon!!!

This first meeting is scheduled for August 18, 2024, with a cash prize of $1000 and a few other surprises. The Cross The Ages team welcomed this initiative with enthusiasm, generously offering advice and support to ensure the success of a very qualitative project.

"Amber League initiative" is a collective adventure that promises to bring together and energize the community of Cross The Ages.

With regular competitions, attractive rewards and a strong community spirit, this project (or should we now say, this reality) seems to be on the verge of becoming a pillar of the CTA ecosystem.

Whether you are an experienced player, a beginner, or even a complete newcomer, "Amber League Tournament" invites you to join the adventure and defend the colors of your guild.

As for us, we were very impressed by this brilliant initiative, and we hope that many of you will sign up.
