This week has been full of twists and turns in the Cross The Ages ecosystem. We are entering an era of strategic development, as we approach the TGE (official release) of the $CTA.
An exclusive AMA from the team of Cross The Ages, released Friday May 10, 2024, sent shivers down the spines of all fans.
The AMA was masterfully led by Patrick Mercanton, the new CMO of Cross The Ages, who made his official on-screen debut.
This Q&A lasted 27 minutes, in the company of CEO Sami Chlagou, CTO Quentin Giraud, and CPO Antony Gérard.
During this AMA, several important topics were discussed. In particular for the organization of events, and at the development level, for the community of players and investors of Cross the Ages.

The Heroes Legacy 2024
The 2023 edition of this tournament was exceptional for the community of players, fans, as well as for the entire Team CTA. It left them with an indelible mark in terms of quality announcements, meetings, emotions and memories.
But the "Heroes Legacy 2024" promises to be even more grandiose than last year's. This annual event; an opportunity for players and fans to immerse themselves in the incandescent epic and all its incredible stages that we have been through together since the beginning. We will discover and take the road together again towards the goals and ambitions to come.
We will walk hand in hand towards new adventures, new enriching horizons, with of course at the head of the pack our precious CEO, motivated as never before to take Cross the ages to a higher level.
Cards and their animation levels
Not to mention the aspect of their power in game, the cards were previously simply aesthetic. They are now enriched by their animation levels, and benefit from integrated skins. This adds an additional aesthetic dimension and also lets us glimpse the beauty and depth of the Lore.
For those who had already invested in these animations, Cross The Ages will make a refund in CTA Tokens. This refund will be of the order of $36 CTA for a level 2 animation and $56 CTA for a level 3 animation, which is a proof of loyalty and commitment on the part of the Cross The Ages team for the satisfaction of its community.
Physical Maps
The first sample of physical cards was received in May 2023, and was presented to fans at "Heroes Legacy 2023". In order to ensure quality work for these physical cards, their production was delayed. They were reworked and it was agreed that the last batches would include QR Codes. The release of physical or NFC cards will be done at the same time for the Arkhante and Mantris seasons in a few months.
Season 3 The Rift
Rift Season 3 is set to release this summer, with the pre-sale of the packs for this new season just a few weeks before its launch. This pre-sale will give players the opportunity to best prepare for the rest of this adventure and especially for the next seasons.
TCG Updates
The Cross The Ages team is committed to making the TCG (Trading Card Game) more accessible through regular updates, spread over several months, until the end of the year. The last major update is already scheduled and will focus on the social aspect and guilds. It will strengthen the community's interactions in the game.
What's New for Arise and Card Interactivity
In Arise, players will discover a Mythic card with Water as its element.
It will be possible to awaken weapons through cards. They will be blocked but will not be burned. The same mechanic will also be used for lands that will be placed under the defense of cards.
A card will not be able to be traded or played in the TCG if it is blocked in Arise.
This is a major change in the game mechanics.
It will also be possible to play Arise on PC and Mac, using a keyboard and/or mouse. The option of being able to play with a controller is also a possibility that is being studied at the moment...
The first land sale will take place in September 2024, and then the other sales will follow on a recurring basis, approximately every six months.
The yield will be effective immediately after the purchase of lands.
Players will be able to specialize in collecting different resources that they can then sell at auction on the CTA portal.
This will create a dynamic and engaging economy around Cross The Ages and also reward those who are engaged.
International Expansion and Upcoming Events
International expansion is Cross the Ages' wish, which marks a turning point by opening subsidiaries in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.
This is a major event that is planned with the first demo of Arise at the Tokyo Game Show which will take place in September. Cross The Ages underlines the importance of this initiative and its commitment so that the franchise can develop on the international scene.
Arkhel, the new Black Lotus
The Special Rare Arkhel card is definitely the best, rarest, most expensive and most importantly the strongest card. Sami considers this card to be the equivalent of the next "Black Lotus". In Arise, Arkhel will benefit from a big Bonus for the defense of his Land because it is linked to the 78 cards burned to obtain it.
Upcoming Publications
A Collector's Book and its share of surprises are being published for this year 2024. The second Volume will be released at the end of the year, and this will delight fans of the Cross the Ages Saga even more.
