Summary
THE January 14, 2025, The team of Cross The Ages held a AMA rich in announcements, presented by Sami, Anthony And Quentin. This meeting, eagerly awaited by the community, made it possible to take stock of current initiatives and to reveal priorities for the coming year. A look back at the highlights of this session.
TCG adjustments, innovations and evolution of collections.
The team announced strategic changes to SR (Special Rare) cards, which aim to refine their positioning between Rare (R) and Ultra Rare (UR) cards. Seasons are now 9 months long. This is a pace that now includes three Airdrop rotations instead of the current two. (3 Airdrop sessions of 13 SR Cards).
As for the characters in Cross The Ages, they will be depicted in various illustrations from the past, present and future.
Aurelius for example, one of the main protagonists is illustrated on the cards of season 3, during his childhood, accompanied by his Mother. This symbolizes a key moment in the history of Aurelius.
In the same way, the other characters will continue to evolve over the seasons, represented at different times in their history.
In terms of gameplay, an interesting novelty will be integrated by the introduction of the “Blast” abilities, it will offer a better balance between the existing cards.
These adjustments aim to standardize the gameplay experience and strengthen the appeal of collections for regular players and collectors.
A redesigned market model for the Portal.
The exchange, initially designed around an order book, will now adopt a liquidity pool (LP) model. This strategic change is part of the desire to simplify user interactions on the portal and will follow the full migration to the new blockchain in the coming months.
Roadmap 2025 - Testing and production as a priority.
The year will be punctuated by beta tests for the TCG and Arise(the RPG). Scheduled between late March and mid-April 2025, these tests will cover in particular the TCG Patch 0.24 and the limited features of Arise, which will provide a taste of the innovations to come. Players are already eager to get started.
Writing history with the Book, learning from past challenges to better bounce back in the future.
Although sales and reviews of the first book were slightly lower than expected, the results were nevertheless able to identify areas for improvement for future publications.
Collector's Editions for Mint Pass holders remain current and will be available for sale very soon, despite logistical delays currently being resolved.
Blockchain Migration will be done with Fluidity and Simplicity.
The integration with Immutable X marked a key milestone in Cross The Ages’ transition to a new blockchain. Its goal was to ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience, with a simplified one-click migration.
Community Engagement with Fewer Events, More Accessibility
The team has chosen to limit events in 2024, even the Christmas event was no exception, to refocus all its efforts on production. This decision, carefully considered, aimed to improve future accessibility and strengthen player retention, while proposing a long-term vision, which is focused on the community.
What Collaboration, and what prospects for 2025.
A new collaboration under NDA was also mentioned evasively. This sparked a surge of enthusiasm around the expansion and enrichment of the Cross The Ages universe.
2025 will be the year of advent for cross the ages.
This AMA confirmed that 2025 will be a crucial year for Cross The Ages, with major advances on all fronts. While the challenges remain numerous, the passion and commitment of the team has never been as resilient as it is.
