Lylini plays with Shadow and Light

The map Special Rare of 6th AirDrop from the Season 3 of Rift, released this week, Lylini is the perfect example. An elegant, stylish and well-groomed young woman, yet fragile. This artist with a magnetic aura embodies the quiet strength of a melody capable of touching the depths of the soul.

Dressed all in black, Lylini with her sober, soft and captivating elegance that allows her to blend into the shadows, with her bewitching music that seems to make light spring forth, seems to illuminate the room around her. Her gaze, so mysterious, partially hidden by a golden mask, evokes a particular vision of the world, which reinforces and increases even more the power of her other senses.

Lylini defines herself as something other than just a musician. She is the gentle storyteller whose notes resonate in the hearts of those who listen to her. She knows how to invite each soul to immerse itself in its own inner journey.

In the standard version In this SR card, Lylini is revealed in a luxurious setting, full of grandeur and mystery. She half-opens a massive door sculpted and finely decorated with gold.

She looks like she is about to enter a luxurious place, perhaps a palace, or a sanctuary that would be reserved only for initiates.

Her gestures are measured, delicate and graceful. She gently places her hand on the door, her fingers are long, thin, neat and very well manicured, black varnish on her nails. She tilts her head slightly, certainly to look inside. The contrast depicted in this illustration is fascinating. 

Between on one side the coldness of her clothes, the expression of her pale face, the dark and melancholic atmosphere that reigns. Then on the other, the warmth of her golden metal mask, the asymmetry and the platinum blonde color of her hair tattooed on top, send us a message. The one that suggests that Lylini could be an ambiguous character, stuck between shadow and light, fighting to determine her identity. 

The marker tribal brown on her platinum hair, denounces the possibility that she could belong to a clan, be part of a tribe, a family in some way. She therefore probably plays a specific role there. Her obsidian-colored clothes, a mix between Gothic and Victorian style, as well as the golden light of the door highlight this intriguing duality. Lylini seems to belong as much to the shadow as to the light.

Her forearms and neck, which seem to be stained with indelible black ink, attract attention and suggest that a particular event is the cause. Perhaps Lylini is the victim of a past marked by secret and painful trials. Her mask of golden Amber, covering only half of her face, also calls out.

Is it a protection? A tribal distinctive sign? A wound from the past? What is hidden behind this golden mask and this asymmetrical lock of hair?

Her outfit consists of a black leotard with voluminous sleeves in a very elegant Victorian style, and a tutu made of black gas as well. The whole outfit is similar to that of a dancer. This dark and flowing costume envelops Lylini's slender figure, and gives this incredible aura an additional touch of mystery.

The place where this scene takes place is vast and open, but it suddenly transforms into a small setting for his music. We can guess from his behavior the power and magic of his instrument, which carries him away in a captivating whirlwind.
