Summary
The Cards Rare Specials revealed for this 12th Airdrop of the Season 3 from the Rift of Cross The Ages, immerse us in the life of an extraordinary character. Ricred, aka the restorer of humanity.
With his rebellious, marginal punk look, Ricred embodies both resourcefulness and inventiveness. His big heart, overflowing with warmth and generosity, makes him very endearing.
Ricred has the art of creating unbreakable bonds with all those who cross his path one day.
By analyzing these two SR Cards more closely, we discover a minimalist man, loving simple things, and above all driven by the desire to see life resume where others consider it definitively lost.

Ricred, a heart of gold amidst the debris!
In the standard version From this week's SR Map, Ricred can be found in a dark alley, somewhere not far from the majestic dome of Mantris.
He stands atop a pile of debris, metal, and robot remains.
Dented robot arms and frames, burnt-out circuits, and even torn-off heads with their cables and wires litter the ground... creating a desolate setting where light struggles to shine through.
The walls, made of ancient stones with old exposed pipes, are the only witnesses of a past that new technology has erased, and which gives the scene an aura of melancholy. However, even in this chaos, we witness a poignant scene!
Crouching down, holding carefully in his sturdy hands, a Robot's noggin as he likes to call them, Ricred seems delighted with his find. His eyes shine and sparkle with a benevolent light, as if he sees in this piece of metal much more than an inanimate object. He sees a precious treasure in the middle of this chaos.
His hands and face are marked by years of hard work.
Ricred's appearance is an open book on his story. That of a man who chose to give life to broken objects, perhaps to regain some semblance of control over a chaotic world that escapes him. Perhaps it reminds him of a painful past, with loved ones gone too soon, whom he failed to keep alive.
A pair of aviator goggles sit atop his balding head and what remains of his hair is disheveled. He casually wears a gas mask around his neck, supposedly meant to protect him. His frayed cape and ripped jeans reflect his modest lifestyle. However, there are two watches on his right wrist. One is antique, the other decidedly modern.
Ricred is the king of recovery; but above all he is a man of great sensitivity, capable of seeing beauty where some perceive nothing but forgotten remains. This intimate and touching moment gives us a glimpse of Ricred's charitable and generous soul. A man who finds happiness in the act of repairing, not only objects, but also forgotten stories, wounded souls.

The Dance of the Bolts with Ricred the Craftsman of Friendship.
There alternative version of this SR Card, transports us to Ricred's workshop, a place where chaos becomes art and where every corner vibrates with overflowing energy. It is a confined space, in which various tools, robot pieces and spare parts pile up everywhere. This creative Bazaar silently bears witness to the countless resurrections orchestrated by Ricred, this genius repairer.
In the middle of this joyful and abundant bric-a-brac, Ricred dances happily with a freshly repaired robot. The golden head that he held in the standard version in his hands, has now found its place, fixed on a gleaming body, entirely made from recovered objects.
Under the warm light that highlights them, their shadows intertwine in an improbable ballet. Ricred, mouth open, whistles a mug of melt, while his creation made entirely of recycled metal, in a comical and touching gesture, brandishes a container of mechanical oil to toast with his benefactor inventor.
The scene is animated by an improvised song, celebrating the hope and friendship that reign in this workshop where even the debris regains hope and life. This moment, both funny and poignant, is very representative of the way Ricred sees this life. He does not just repair, he shares with a good soul, transforming abandoned objects into life companions.

Humanity in Pieces...What if Everything Could Be Repaired?
Ricred's SR Standard and Alternate cards represent more than just a character or a Rift collectible. They tell the story of a man who can transcend a harsh and battered world through his ability to breathe new life into what seemed lost.
In his workshop, where humanity and metal merge in a wild dance, Ricred repairs more than objects: he welds bonds, restores hopes, and reminds us that beauty exists even in the most damaged fragments.
Through his sincere smile and his unique creations, Ricred teaches us an essential lesson. What seems broken is not necessarily lost. Every object, every being, every story, deserves to be given a second chance.
What if, in our turn, we made the effort to look beyond appearances to discover the hidden value of things or people, and to rebuild to move forward better?
You should never judge a book by its cover. Ricred, with its simplicity and perseverance, shows us that in every repair there is a little bit of resilience — and perhaps a part of ourselves that is reborn.
Let us be those who restore and recycle rather than those who accumulate, pile up, and throw away what can still be repaired...
