The 12th Special Rare Card AirDrop is dedicated to a very special creature that inhabits the continent of Artellium. It is a mysterious and enchanting variety of pets known as Criarunes.
These endearing little creatures, considered parasites by some, have unique sensory characteristics that make them special. We will analyze, through these two Special Rare cards, key moments in their daily lives.
Criarunes are small balls of fur that can be compared to pets (for those who like them). That said, they do not appear to have eyes. They therefore rely heavily on their ability to sense the vibrations of their surroundings in order to move through their environment. They are equipped with a vibration sonar so that they can map space in three dimensions.
Their method is similar to that of bats. This lifestyle allows them to adapt perfectly to the harsh living conditions of the Mantris underworld, with the city's humid and warm sewer pipes. They find food in abundance there, mainly composed of Pranah and organic matter. Their diet of recyclers makes them natural cleaners, but earns them the bad reputation of being all-eaters.
The social behavior of the criarunes is also remarkable. They live and move in groups. When they sense danger, the criarunes barricade themselves with impressive coordination. To protect themselves from the enemy, the criarunes connect with each other and form esoteric figures on the ground reminiscent of symbols of ancient magic.
To warn each other of danger, they emit a high-pitched, ultrasonic cry and curl up in a ball. They also have the ability to detect illness, emotions, and other distress in the people they are around.

Standard Version
“The Sweetness of the Criarunes in the Shadow”
In the standard version of this SR card, we observe a criarune in an intimate setting with a Mantri that we believe to be KatK.
Softness and emotional connection take center stage. The young woman mantri, sketches a smile that expresses the peacefulness of the moment. Her fine features and her clean appearance bathed in golden light clash with the industrial environment of the place.
On his shoulder, a Criarune with deep blue fur and its little paws delicately placed on his cheek, also seems to share this moment of comfort and affection.
But what do we really know about Criarunes? Are they domesticable?
The background makes it clear where this scene is taking place. The complex network of pipes and damp conduits indicates that this is most likely the underworld of Mantris, the home of the ExSITés. These creatures find refuge and protection there.

Alternative Version
“Mystical Formations - Magic of the Criarunes”
The alternative version reveals another aspect of the Criarunes' life. That of the communion between these little hairy balls who, following their primitive instinct, practice a sort of Magic ritual by grouping together and drawing mystical symbols on the ground.
Does this rite really have no other purpose than to reassure them?! Or does it bring back moments buried in their memories that remind them of memories of a distant origin? The image of this Mantris Card, with the halo of a Pranah-colored purple that emerges from the Criarunes makes all the madmen of Arkhante nostalgic.
These small creatures have not finished delivering great mysteries. Carried by the cosmic vibrations they emit, the Criarunes seem to float in the air, adding an almost supernatural dimension to this scene, thanks to a perfect harmony.
“The Revealed Duality of the Criarunes”
The Criarunes, despite their appearance as simple companion creatures or parasites of Artellium. Depending on the prism you use to observe them, or the camp you are on. They embody the complexity of making a choice between Magic and Technology.
Their ability to form magical runes in groups and interact tenderly with humans reveals a fascinating duality between their wild nature and their adaptation to coexistence with the city dwellers of Artellium. These two Rare Special Cards invite us to reflect on how even the smallest creatures can influence the myths, magic, and societies in which they live.
As we explore the lives of the Criarunes, we discover not only aspects of their world but also lessons about coexistence and interdependence.
