Protector of orphans, storyteller of legends, she embodied the light of a future to be rebuilt. But the ages shape even the purest souls. Our two exclusive cards reveal an unrecognizable Ailene. Marked by betrayal, consumed by merciless vengeance, she reinvents and forges herself before our eyes. Abandoning the tales she once loved, she now writes her own story, between smoke and light.

The standard card reveals Ailene with a damaged face, partially concealed beneath a ripped fan, its folds torn and its ends broken. Fractured, this fan falls to pieces between Rainar's relentless rays and Ailene's murderous gaze. Each crack reminds her of suffering, each splinter the trace of a deep wound.

Her skin no longer resembles that of Solon's gentle regent. Marbled with reddish scars and burns, she seems consumed from within by an invisible evil, the remnant of a fire that never goes out. Through the wisps of smoke, one can sense the acrid scent of burning flesh and molten Kharo.

While her body bears the painful scars of the past, her eyes have no intention of failing. Burning the blades of the fan, her gaze pierces this illustration, to fix on Rainar, whom we guess is Master of the sky. The smoke surrounding her is not only a painful memory, it is also a formidable weapon, and a force she is learning to tame.

Her body tense, her fingers clenched around her broken fan, Ailene no longer aspires to tell the legend of Solon. She lives and embodies her own legend. That of a woman who rejects mercy to embrace the merciless burn of vengeance.

The illustration on Ailene's alternate card contrasts radically with that of the standard card. She appears to display a certain icy majesty, seated on her throne in a metallic-reflecting room, wearing a blue silk gown studded with galactic gemstone shards. She gazes, turning it between her fingers, at a mother-of-pearl ring that seems to hypnotize her.

In appearance it is a simple jewel, caressed by a ray of light, but for Ailene it is loaded with her entire history.

Ailene's facial expression has changed. The burns hidden beneath her delicate makeup are unmistakable. Her cold, calculating gaze remains blank, scanning the horizon with implacable determination.
